Potato Chip was born to a Battersea rescue, a Jack Russell Terrier cross named Parsnip, soon after she arrived at Battersea.
Sadly, Parsnip was found abandoned, heavily pregnant and alone outside a London shopping centre.
After a check-up with our veterinary team, Parsnip went to stay in a dedicated Battersea foster home because of how heavily pregnant she was. It wasn’t long before she gave birth to four beautiful puppies, all surrounded by the love and care they needed – a safe, loving start to life they deserved – made possible by supporters like you.
Potato Chip was the shyest of the bunch and needed some encouragement from his Battersea carers as well as his mum and siblings. It's incredible the difference that socialisation at Battersea made for him.
With the care and encouragement your support helps provide, Potato Chip grew into a healthy, happy puppy - ready to find a loving home of his own.
With his newfound confidence, it wasn't long before Potato Chip was matched with a new family and was taken to his new home.
Potato Chip’s new family absolutely adore him and say he is the friendliest boy. He's even befriended a dog ten times his size, loves heading out on new adventures, and has taken up a new hobby: paddleboarding!
