Sweet six-year-old Sphynx cat Romeo arrived at Battersea when his previous owner sadly could no longer care for him. Thanks to your kind support, he was welcomed with open arms and given everything he needed to feel safe and loved again.
Romeo settled into the cattery quickly, showing his affectionate nature straight away. He loved being close to people, often placing his paws on staff’s shoulders to ask for cuddles.
Due to a medical trauma during kittenhood, Romeo is blind in one eye and had mild balance issues, particularly on stairs. This never stopped him from climbing onto laps or following his favourite people around.
Like many Sphynx cats, Romeo needed regular bathing, ear cleaning and nail trimming. When an ear infection persisted, Battersea’s vets carried out an ear scope and treatment, which he handled brilliantly, showing his easy-going personality throughout.
After two months in our care, Romeo charmed his way into his loving new family and is now enjoying all the attention he deserves; a happy ending made possible by you.
