Two-year-old Rusty arrived at Battersea as a stray, alongside his bonded companion called Chester. As strays, Battersea didn’t have much background on their history, but it was clear that the pair shared a close bond.

After a thorough medical examination, the dedicated clinic team discovered that poor Rusty had some minor skin issues, which were successfully treated.
It took a few days for Rusty and Chester to settle into the cattery environment. Once they did, Rusty’s charming, playful and affectionate nature began to shine. He especially loved chasing string toys and could often be found chatting away when he was looking for a gentle fuss.
Rusty’s confidence helped Chester feel more at ease, and once Chester saw Rusty make friends, he quickly followed his lead. It wasn’t long until the pair found their new, loving home together.
