Eleven-year-old Watson arrived at our London centre in July when his previous owner was struggling having to be away from home a lot, and gentle Watson found the long hours alone hard to bear. He arrived showing signs of separation anxiety, often crying when left alone. Along the way, he faced a few health concerns too. Battersea vets found a lump on his neck, which was thankfully benign, along with some mobility challenges, but Watson took it all in his stride.
With the help of Battersea’s team, made possible by your continued generosity, Watson began to show his true nature as a sweet, affectionate soul. He enjoyed gentle strolls and spending quiet time with calm canine friends.
Thanks to you, Watson found his happy ending in mid-August with a loving family and his new canine companion, Pearl.
