Yoghurt’s Battersea Journey

24 Feb 2026

Yoghurt, a 5-month-old kitten was also given that second chance the day he arrived at Battersea in great need of help. Our veterinary team found a fracture on his right hind leg, meaning that sadly it would need to be amputated.

Furthermore, Yoghurt also wasn’t reacting to any sounds and additional checks by our team confirmed that he was deaf. Thanks to our supporters, we could provide the expert care he needed and be there for him on his road to recovery.
Yoghurt quickly adapted to walking on three legs and adjusted to life in the cattery - making friends with all our dedicated staff. It wasn’t long before we found him the perfect home with a new loving family who could give him the support he needs.
