How to join the Academy Online Community

Academy Online is a free e-learning platform built for animal welfare professionals who want to grow, connect and do even more for the dogs and cats in their care.

Our learning is currently shaped around the needs of those currently working and volunteering in shelters and rehoming organisations but we're building something for the wider sector, and we'd love to stay connected with you wherever you are in your journey.

If you work or volunteer for one of the following, you can sign up for an Academy Online account today:

  • UK or International Dog and/or Cat Shelters
  • Foster-based Rehoming Organisations
  • Dog and/or Cat Population Management organisations and groups
  • Dog & Cat Membership bodies, such as ADCH or ADCWO-SA
  • Sector Supporting Organisations, such as ICAM, International Cat Care, GARC, AFA Dog & Cat Coalition, EU Dog & Cat Alliance
  • Local Government in the UK, Sri Lanka or Greece
  • Assistance Animal Organisation, e.g. member of the Assistance Dogs Coalition
  • Advocacy organisations
