Meet Marley!
Marley is a lovely chap, he shows his affection through the sweetest gentle licks of your hand and the most adorable chirrups. Marley also loves his playtime, and then a warm lap to snooze on once he's worn himself out! He not only has the sweetest high-pitched meow, he also has an adorable white tip to his tail! Marley enjoys a fuss on his terms, and can live in a household with teenagers or older, and with multiple members to keep him occupied. He is a super playful lad, watching him play is better than watching TV! Marley will need access to a private garden via a cat-flap. Marley has oodles of personality and is a wonderful cat, he will flourish with owners who are understanding of his needs, so please consider adopting this lovely lad.

Once we have received your application, we will reach out to complete your registration with us if we think we may have potential matches for you.
For those already fully registered with us and contacting us about a specific cat, please note that we have a large amount of interest in rehoming our animals. We are only able to respond to customers when the cat is a match and is still available, and we work on a first come first serve basis. If the cat has a green ‘reserved’ banner, they are currently reserved for a customer and cannot be discussed with anyone else at this time.
Rehoming FAQs
Here at Battersea, we assess all of our cats individually and create a rehoming profile for them. To ensure successful matches between people and pets, we use a combination of extensive rehoming experience, our staff expertise and the information you provided in your rehoming form. Once you complete your online registration, you’ll receive a confirmation email to let you know that we have everything we need to begin our matchmaking process, as well as the next steps of the process.
This may not always be the cat you thought it would be, which is why we ask that you see the registration form as a way of registering your interest in rehoming, not an application for a specific animal. We’re experts in making sure we find the right home for our cats and the right cat for your home.

Once you’ve completed our online registration form, we’ll handle the rest. Your rehoming registration will be open for up to three months, and in that time, we’ll do our very best to try and match you with a pet that best suits you and your lifestyle. It can take a bit of time for us to try and match you with a pet – but we promise it’s time well spent. We’re committed to getting to know every animal at our centres before finding a match that works for our cats and for you wherever possible.
If we are not able to match you with a cat within three months, we’ll let you know and offer guidance to help you continue your search beyond Battersea.

Our rehoming fee is £100 for cats (over six months), £130 for kittens (under six months) or £180 for a pair of cats and £225 for a pair of kittens. We accept cash or debit/credit card as payment (we are unable to accept cheques). The fees include a full vet and behaviour assessment, microchipping, flea and worm treatment, neutering, initial vaccinations, starter pack of food and four weeks of free Petplan insurance. Each cat also goes to their new home with their own blankets and a favourite toy, such as a knitted mouse.
It’s important to consider not just the initial cost of getting a cat or kitten, but the regular cost of insurance, food, equipment and fees at your local veterinary centre so that you are fully prepared for the financial implications of owning a cat.
