More about Monsoon

Monsoon came into our care as a stray and, at first, found people a little overwhelming. She would watch from the safety of her hiding spot, letting us know she was there with the occasional meow. Over time, she has started to build her confidence and now happily approaches when a hand is offered, leaning in for gentle head rubs and attention.

Monsoon has a sensitive nature and will need a patient, understanding home where she can continue to blossom at her own pace. Once she feels safe, she shows her affectionate side and enjoys quiet companionship.

Monsoon will need outdoor access in her new home and should be provided with a cat flap so she is able to come and go as she pleases if her owners are away for a working day.

If you have already completed our online rehoming form and would like to know more about Monsoon, you can e-mail our Old Windsor rehoming team on bowcat.rehomers@battersea.org.uk to register your interest.

We ask every customer to first complete our online form before we can discuss an individual animal. If you have not filled in our form yet you can find the details on how to do so here https://www.battersea.org.uk/rehoming.

Please be aware that we receive a large amount of interest in rehoming our animals, so we are only able to contact those that are a match for the cat you have contacted us about.
