Meet lovely Alice our cuddliest Spaniel!
Alice arrived at Battersea with a glowing history and has continued to prove to everyone just how wonderful she is! She can be a little shy initially but quickly warms up to show her affectionate side. She has shown no sensitivities around handling and is a gentle little lady so could live with older children 8+.
She lived with dogs before and has been friendly towards other dogs she has met on site. She is generally an independent girl, happy to exist in a space with another dog but not super interactive. Given how steady and chill she is, feel she would prefer to be the only dog in the home but would love some doggy mates to walk with.
Alice is an active girl who loves to sniff and enjoys being outside. She does not require a private garden so long as new owners can facilitate regular housetraining breaks and walks.
Alice is a superstar, a sweet and graceful character. She is ready to find her forever family who she can join for adventures and cuddle up on the sofa with. She will make a fantastic companion to anyone who wants a fun, gentle, loving friend!

Rehoming FAQs
Here at Battersea, we assess all of our dogs individually and create a rehoming profile for them. To ensure successful matches between people and pets, we use a combination of extensive rehoming experience, our staff expertise and the information you provided in your rehoming form. Once you complete your online registration, you’ll receive a confirmation email to let you know that we have everything we need to begin our matchmaking process, as well as the next steps of the process.
This may not always be the dog you thought it would be, which is why we ask that you see the registration form as a way of registering your interest in rehoming, not an application for a specific animal. We’re experts in making sure we find the right home for our dogs and the right dog for your home.

Once you’ve completed our online registration form, we’ll handle the rest. Your rehoming registration will be open for up to three months, and in that time, we’ll do our very best to try and match you with a pet that best suits you and your lifestyle. It can take a bit of time for us to try and match you with a pet – but we promise it’s time well spent. We’re committed to getting to know every animal at our centres before finding a match that works for our dogs and for you wherever possible.
If we are not able to match you with a dog within three months, we’ll let you know and offer guidance to help you continue your search, either at Battersea or beyond.

Our rehoming fee is £230 for dogs (over six months), £350 for a pair of dogs, or £275 for puppies (under six months). We accept cash or debit/credit card as payment (we are unable to accept cheques). Included in this cost are the following:
- Microchipping
- Initial vaccinations, flea and worming treatment
- Neutering
- A collar, identification tag and lead
- Starter pack of food, advice and special offers
- Four weeks’ free Petplan insurance as your dog settles into their new surroundings
Something to bear in mind is that our rehoming fee is just the beginning of the costs involved with owning a dog. We would recommend that before making the decision to rehome, you investigate the costs of pet food, pet insurance, grooming and fees at your local veterinary centre so that you are fully prepared for the financial implications of bringing a dog into your home.
