More about Apple

Apple is a dog looking for cuddles, she has been known to fall asleep upside down on staff members lap when given the chance.

Apple has been a staff favourite here at Battersea Old Windsor, she is dog that really enjoys being around people. The more affection the better for Apple. When first arriving she had a worried nature taking time to warm up but once friends you are friends for life.

She is gaining her confidence slowly and showing her playful side but going into a new home will be a big change. New owners will need to patient with her while she finds her feet not doing too much too soon.

Apple has spent time in offices here and been a great companion, a soft bed a few toys is all she needs to curl up while we work away.

Apple came into our care as a stray so unfortunately, we have no prior history of her before Battersea. Being left alone, house training and recall will all be aspects of training to work on. She loves her food and already aced ‘sit’ and ‘paw’.

New owners will need to speak to a Battersea Vet before rehoming Apple.

Apple is looking to be the only dog in her new home; she is social with other dogs but can be overwhelmed and hesitant. Making friends on walks will be a great way to build up her social skills and she can be centre of attention at home.

Apple will make a fantastic companion in her new home, brining a lot of joy to a new household. If you have already completed our online rehoming form and would like to know more about Apple, you can e-mail our rehoming team on bow.rehomers@battersea.org.uk to register your interest.
