More about Ash

Meet Ash, our beautiful 9month old Malinois!

Ash is a bit of a worried girl and needs new owners who are patient and understanding that she likely won't leave the house for a while. It is recommend that the new owners have experience with very anxious and worried dogs before due to the severity of her lack of confidence.

Ash has spent most of her young life being in kennels, coming from another charity previously. She has grown in confidence here but she still get worried when we try to extend her world. We think she would benefit from having an independent confident dog friend in the home which is able to be a good role model for her, this would depend on introductions. Due to how worried this little girl is, we recommend her to go to a home with a private garden to help build her confidence as we think it is going to take her a long time to settle into a new home.

Ash has been great with new people and warms up to everyone so quickly. She takes a lot of reassurance from her handler so a new owner would need to be respectful of her and reassure her that all is okay.
