More about Ashes
Meet dainty Ashes, our sweet and sensitive diddy lurcher lady who just wants to be loved. She is a petite lurcher, with butter wouldn't melt eyes and a heart of gold. If Ashes isn't curled up asleep in her soft bed, she is bouncing around our paddocks like a spring lamb.
Ashes has lived in a home before, so is accustomed to a home environment and was house trained in her old home. She lived within a family unit with teenagers and was affectionate and relaxed around her family members. She loves to play with soft toys and knows some good basics, so she really should settle into almost any new home perfectly.
In her previous home, Ashes did socialise with other dogs but during her time with us, we have seen she is quite a worried lady who would rather keep herself to herself. Ashes will need to remain on lead and muzzled in public spaces, so she would love her own private garden to bounce around in. She would benefit from being walked in quieter areas and it is important her new owners are understanding of her anxieties and do not have visiting dogs to their home. Ashes will need the time she is left alone built up slowly and positively, to help her feel safe.
Ashes is an easy going and easy to care for dog who will fit into almost any home, as long as her family are sensitive to her needs. She really is a little gem and one not to be missed!
