More about Bagel

Bagel is a nervous and gentle Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. She is based at Battersea Old Windsor.

She’s looking for a quiet, understanding home where she won’t feel rushed or overwhelmed. A patient owner who can give her time, space, and gentle encouragement will help her build trust at her own pace. Predictable routines, calm handling, and a peaceful environment will make all the difference for her.

Bagel can live with a steady, well balanced dog and often gains confidence by mirroring their behaviour. A calm household, predictable routine, and gentle handling will support her ongoing progress. She also needs a private and secure garden, as having her own safe outdoor space allows her to potter around, decompress, and build confidence without the stress of unfamiliar surroundings.

She has taken time to build bonds with handlers, when she’s working up the bravery to make new friends, she has a couple of favourite motivators: chicken and cheese. These tasty treats go a long way in helping her feel comfortable and supported during introductions.
