More about Bella

Meet our sweet Labrador x Mastiff Bella!

Bella came to Battersea through no fault of her own and she is quite a sensitive girl but she warms up fast when given time, space and a few tasty treats! She has come out of her shell quickly and is really starting to show her known people her fun and playful personality!

Bella will need a quiet location, where she can progress at her own pace. She has been a bit noise sensitive around our London centre and worried around new people, therefore confidence building and slow exposure is essential for her, especially during her settling in period to build up positive associations.

Bella has been social with dogs and reads them really nicely. She would prefer to live with another dog who can show her the ropes and give her confidence in day to day life!

Bella is looking for a patient home and could live with older teens or possibly younger, sensible children who will respect her boundaries as well as read her body language. Owners with some experience with nervous dogs would be beneficial but not essential. She will need a private garden and her new family should be prepared to offer plenty of patience, reassurance and understanding while she resettles into family life in her forever home.

If you have already completed our online rehoming form and would like to know more about Bella, you can e-mail our rehoming team on rehoming@battersea.org.uk to register your interest.

We ask every customer to first complete our online form before we discuss an individual dog, so if you have not filled in our form yet you can find the details on how to do so here https://www.battersea.org.uk/rehome/dogs

Please be aware that we have a large amount of interest in rehoming our animals, so we are only able to contact those homes that are a match for the dog in question.
