More about BENJI

Benji is a fun young whirlwind of a Beagle, at our Old Windsor site, that loves to play but can be uncomfortable around elements of handling. If after reading his information you would like to know more about him, please email bow.rehomers@battersea.org.uk

Benji is full of energy, always on the go and loves to play with most other dogs. However he currently lacks manners and social interaction, so at this stage in his life, will be better suited to living alone.

Typical of his breed, he can be stubborn and not always very receptive to training, so training sessions should be kept short and fun. Benji is young, on the go and can get quite over stimulated at times. He will need new owners who have owned or are experienced with the Beagle or Hound breeds and understand what they are taking on.

He will need very active owners who can provide him with the mental and physical stimulation he requires. He has a history of nipping and jumping up. Training has been put in place for this, which will need to be continued in his new home.

Benji loves his toys and favours a tennis ball, although he enjoys them a little too much sometimes and chews them up!
