More about Betty Lou Who

Meet our adorable little Betty Lou Who! Betty is a 9-week-old Malinois-German Shepherd-Cane Corso cross who’s sensitive, friendly and eager to bond, often seeking reassurance from her people. Her mother was a Cane Corso cross German shepherd and her father was a Belgian shepherd, both strong, athletic, intelligent dogs who participated in dog sports as individuals. Betty is one of the more worried of her littermates and will need more graduated exposure to the world. Where her littermates are very busy, Betty prefers a nice cuddle and is always looking for the softest bed. In moments of confidence, we see all her potential shining through and she truly embodies the best of all breeds in her makeup: razor-sharp, energetic, and ready for action. But don’t be fooled into thinking she’s all business. Betty has a soft side too and loves affection and playing with her toys and siblings. She is still true to her breed and can become riled up and mouthy in play with both known people and her littermates at times!

Clever, cuddly, and motivated, Betty will blossom in a home with some working-breed experience and plenty of positive training and time to keep her both mentally & physically stimulated. She could possibly live with a steady older role-model dog to help shape her intro a well-rounded adult dog, but has shown some minor chase tendencies with a resident cat on foster, so likely should not live with a cat in the home. With guidance, socialisation, and steady confidence-building, Betty Lou will grow into a loving, loyal, and engaging companion.
