More about Biscuit

Meet Biscuit!! Our gorgeous, energetic little pocket Bully with the cutest little cleft lip!

He arrived at Battersea with a great history and was described by his previous owners as a friendly boy who loved to play. Since being at Battersea he has been nothing short of a delight to look after and has had glowing reviews from all members of staff. Biscuit has a real zest for life and can be quite bouncy and excitable around people. He loves his tennis balls and playing fetch with them is his favourite past time.

Pocket Bullys are notorious 'goofballs' who can also sometimes come with some complex health concerns so he is looking for a home who have previous experience with bull breeds, or who have done extensive research into the breed. Knowing what to expect from these characterful dogs will be a plus.

Biscuit has never lived with another dog so we have no information on how he shares spaces or resources but during his interaction with dogs outside of the home, he was described as thinking all dogs wanted to be his friend, being overly playful and not listening to tell offs.
During his time at Battersea, we have seen a polite boy who has some great social skills and has been friendly with all the dogs he's met, showing some play with the right matches. We feel that he could live with another interactive dog of similar size or bigger who will help him continue to improve on his social skills but who can also take nice breaks from play.

Biscuit has lived with a kitten before and was playful and affectionate and they were often seen grooming each other. Biscuit therefore has the potential to live with a confident dog savvy cat that won't take offense with him trying to potentially trying to initiate play.

Biscuit had previously shared his home with 2 children and was described as being loving with them but would steal their food if he could. At Battersea, Biscuit has shown to be a calm and steady dog and although he can get excited and bouncy, he is able to self-regulate and sit when asked. We feel he would be fine to live with school aged children of 8+ years who can be calm around him in order to not over excite him.

Biscuit previously lived in a home with a garden and was house trained. He will need some refresher training in the new home and due to him being a brachycephalic breed with the added addition of a cleft lip, is looking for access to his own private garden. Biscuit can struggle with too much exercise and new owners will need to be mindful during warmer weather in order to not allow him to overheat.

Whoever decides to rehome our wonderful Biscuit will be showered in love & affection and will find themselves with a loyal, tennis ball loving, companion.
