More about Blossom

Blossom is a laidback and gentle natured Greyhound who is currently based at Battersea Old Windsor.

She has shown to be slightly worried when exploring new environments and takes her time to take everything in. Blossom is looking for a private and secure garden to continue slowly exposing her to new environments. This will also come in handy while Blossom is building up her basic training.

Blossom has been independent and friendly with most dogs she has met here at Battersea Old Windsor but has shown to be worried of more animated dogs and prefers her own space. We feel Blossom could live with another steady and calm dog. She has shown to be slightly chasy around smaller dogs so a dog similar size to her would be ideal. New owners should continue her socialisation to help build up her confidence and continue positive interactions.

Blossom has enjoyed some trips out of our centre especially Windsor Great Park and Virginia Water. She snoozes in the car and potters next to you exploring, making friends with dogs and people. We walked for an hour and half enjoying the spring sunshine and then had a good long nap when she got back.

She is a lovable girl who will be a loyal companion, and fill your heart with joy. If you have already completed our online rehoming form and would like to know more about Blossom, you can e-mail our rehoming team on bow.rehomers@battersea.org.uk to register your interest.

We ask every customer to first complete our online form we discuss an individual animal, so if you have not filled in our form yet you can find the details on how to do so here: https://www.battersea.org.uk/rehoming.

Please be aware that we have a large amount of interest in rehoming our animals, so we are only able to contact those that are a match for the dog you have contacted us about.
