More about Bruce

Sweet young Bruce may look like a big and grown up lad, but he really is just a sensitive baby at heart with lots more maturing to do. He is a German Shepherd crossed with a husky, but behaviourally demonstrates more Shepherd traits. Bruce has had a bit of a turbulent adolescence so far and his most recent owners took him in after he had a difficult start in life. They took very good care of him, but unfortunately it wasn't the best fit for Bruce or his family and so he has come to us to find his happy ever after.

As mentioned, Bruce is still an impressionable youngster who has a lot of emotional maturing to do. He can be wary of unknown people and will need new owners who are able to follow all of our advice to support him in this area. Bruce would like to live in an all adult, settled household in a quieter location and will need a private garden for some house training reminders, as well as secure space just for him. He does love to be outside playing with his toys and exploring, so an active family who like to explore the great outdoors would be ideal for Bruce, but he would benefit from quieter walking routes.

Devilishly handsome big puppy Bruce is sure to thrive in the right environment and we cannot wait to see his progress when he starts his new life in his new home.
