More about Cassie

Meet Cassie, our beautiful, wiggly-bottomed Staffy cross American Bulldog. This brindle babe is a delight, and she makes friends for life, greeting her adoring fans with her special full body wiggle dance.

Cassie came into us through no fault and was a much loved member of her previous family since she was a youngster. She has spent some time in our care now and we have worked hard to support Cassie with her training. She can be unsure of people she does not know and has used her voice to express her discomfort - she does make friends very quickly however, and once she trusts you, she will remember you forever. Cassie was regularly socialised with dogs in her previous home and would offer playful behaviours, though may give a controlled reprimand if other dogs were too pushy. Here, we have seen a bit more of a worried side around other dogs and she has largely chosen to be friendly and then independent.

This lovely lady has good obedience skills in place already and knows a 'sit', 'paw', 'lay down' and 'gentle' cue. She has remained completely clean and housetrained in her kennel since coming into our care - very impressive! She also wears a head collar for her walks very well, which helps to manage her lead walking. Cassie would prefer to live in an all adult household with no other animals - it is her time to relax and lap up all the luxuries life has to offer.

This fantastic dog will appeal to bull breed lovers and will likely do well being left for half a working day in her new home. She is an easy going dog if her new home is able to meet her needs and she has done so well during her time with us - she is just waiting for her second chance in life.
