More about Chai

Our unique little Chai came to be at Battersea after being found as a stray. We believe she may be a Jack Russell Terrier crossed with perhaps a Staffy! She has wonderfully short legs and a wiry coat and is a happy go lucky, eager-to-please ball of energy and fun.

Chai has been a delight to care for while at Battersea Brands Hatch and has been friendly and excitable with everyone she has met. Chai can be keen to meet other dogs and may whine towards them when she wants to say hello, but once she has met she is friendly and then tends to prefer to do her own thing. She could potentially live with another dog if similar size and temperament - one that will offer constructive play but also respect her space.

She has not been housetrained during our stay with us, so Chai will need some reminders in this area and well as some further general training, but enjoys her food and working with her people, so is likely to be a pleasure to train! She is an active girl so will benefit from new owners who can provide her with plenty of stimulating walks in a variety of different areas.
