More about Chance

Meet our beautiful boy Chance, who is hoping to get a second chance at a loving home! Chance is a really sweet natured boy who has been an absolute delight while on site with us. He has a great grasp of basic commands such as sit and wait and shows brilliant impulse control during play. Chance is also a smart boy and has recently started to enjoy playing scent work games.

Chance is still a young boy and can get over excited in some situations, but we have been utilising toys and his basics in these moments to help him cope which has worked really well. We have also found that gentle hands on can also help Chance in moments of stress as he is very tactile and loves people and cuddles.

Chance has a really nice history with dogs and we have seen him have some lovely interactions with all sorts of dogs whilst in our care, however when left to his own devices he tends to demonstrates humping behaviours that can be quite stressful for other dogs, so we are sending him home with the recommendations for him to stay on lead when out and about. Therefore Chance will need his own secure private garden to have a space to play and run around off lead. Chance would also need to be the only dog in the home. Due to his excitable nature we are also recommending that Chance goes to a child free home.
