More about Chip

Chip is a bright and fun Jack Russell Cross who enjoys going on walks and running around our paddocks, he is based at Battersea Old Windsor.

Although Chip has some Jack Russell in him, he is a cross and weighs 13kg, making him more of a medium size.

Chip has a lot of energy and is an active dog, he will enjoy going on long walks with his new owners and stretching his legs in his own private and secure garden.

Chip does need some ongoing training around other dogs. He has been friendly when meeting dogs but can bark when seeing them out and about on walks. He has started a training programme to help him remain calmer and quieter when seeing dogs but this will be an area that a new owner will have to focus on. Due to this, he is looking to be the only dog in his new home.

Once Chip has burnt off his energy, he does enjoy settling with his handlers and having a little snooze.

Chip does have a vocal side in general and can sometimes bark when wanting to go out on a walk and when wanting a treat. He can also find busy areas very overwhelming, which causes him to be more vocal. Therefore he is looking to live in a quieter location and to walk in less busy areas.
