Meet little Coco!

Coco is a Chihuahua cross who arrived at Battersea due to a change in his owners circumstances.

Coco is a sensitive and at times vocal young man, who has been conflicted with known and unknown people both in his history and here on site but is growing in confidence day by day, and proving himself to be a sweet little pup who is just in need of some confidence building!

He can be slightly worried of handling especially the more formal aspects but again with patience he is slowly building in confidence around this, and he has been friendly if a little worried around dogs. We believe the majority of this behaviour is linked to fear, and it seems as though he was just a little overwhelmed by life before coming to us here at Battersea- however with the training and socialisation we have put in place Coco is starting to trust his handlers more and grow in confidence.

Although he can be sensitive initially, he has shown to be very affectionate once he has gained confidence, and it has been wonderful to see him come out of his shell on site and watch his personality bloom every day!

Coco is looking for an experienced, adult only home in a more rural location to help him to thrive in his new life.
