Say hello to the esteemed Lady Cuddles!
This sweet girl came to us through no fault of her own. She has shown herself to be a polite and friendly senior lady who is now ready to enjoy the comforts of retirement in a loving home.
Cuddles is a sweet natured girl with quiet and gentle manners. She’s dreaming of a nice big bed or cozy sofa to relax to her heart’s content. She has shown herself to be friendly with everyone and every dog she has met, enjoying a fuss and happy to go off and do her own thing.
She loves a bit of grass, so a nice garden to potter around and keep up her housetraining would be ideal. She also loves leisurely walks at her own pace where she can meet other doggie friends that won’t bombard or overwhelm her. She could potentially live with other pets providing they are of a similar relaxed temperament and wont seek too much interaction with her. Cuddles could also potentially live with children, so long as they give her space when she needs it and dont pester her.
Although she won’t always seek it out attention, Cuddles truely enjoys a fuss and some affection. This lovely girl has been through a lot, and now all she wants is warm, comfortable place to call home, curled up beside someone who will cherish and care for her in her golden years.

Please be aware that we have a large amount of interest in rehoming our animals, so we are only able to contact those that are a match for the dog you have contacted us about.
Rehoming FAQs
Here at Battersea, we assess all of our dogs individually and create a rehoming profile for them. To ensure successful matches between people and pets, we use a combination of extensive rehoming experience, our staff expertise and the information you provided in your rehoming form. Once you complete your online registration, you’ll receive a confirmation email to let you know that we have everything we need to begin our matchmaking process, as well as the next steps of the process.
This may not always be the dog you thought it would be, which is why we ask that you see the registration form as a way of registering your interest in rehoming, not an application for a specific animal. We’re experts in making sure we find the right home for our dogs and the right dog for your home.

Once you’ve completed our online registration form, we’ll handle the rest. Your rehoming registration will be open for up to three months, and in that time, we’ll do our very best to try and match you with a pet that best suits you and your lifestyle. It can take a bit of time for us to try and match you with a pet – but we promise it’s time well spent. We’re committed to getting to know every animal at our centres before finding a match that works for our dogs and for you wherever possible.
If we are not able to match you with a dog within three months, we’ll let you know and offer guidance to help you continue your search, either at Battersea or beyond.

Our rehoming fee is £230 for dogs (over six months), £350 for a pair of dogs, or £275 for puppies (under six months). We accept cash or debit/credit card as payment (we are unable to accept cheques). Included in this cost are the following:
- Microchipping
- Initial vaccinations, flea and worming treatment
- Neutering
- A collar, identification tag and lead
- Starter pack of food, advice and special offers
- Four weeks’ free Petplan insurance as your dog settles into their new surroundings
Something to bear in mind is that our rehoming fee is just the beginning of the costs involved with owning a dog. We would recommend that before making the decision to rehome, you investigate the costs of pet food, pet insurance, grooming and fees at your local veterinary centre so that you are fully prepared for the financial implications of bringing a dog into your home.
