Meet Daisy, a gorgeous 5-year-old Labrador with a heart as big as her waggy tail! Daisy is an affectionate, fun-loving girl who adores people and is always ready for her next adventure. Whether she’s enjoying a sniffy walk, playing games or simply leaning in for a cuddle, Daisy is happiest when she’s spending time with her favourite humans.
Daisy could be a great match for first-time dog owners who are looking for a friendly companion and are happy to continue her training. She’s eager to learn, highly food motivated and loves positive, reward-based training.
Daisy has previously lived happily with both a male and female Labrador and has continued to show friendly, appropriate interactions with other dogs during her time with us. She could happily live with another suitable dog following successful introductions, or equally enjoy being the centre of attention as the only dog in the home.
There is no history of Daisy living with cats, so she is looking for a cat-free home.
Due to her enthusiastic and bouncy nature, Daisy is best suited to a home with children of primary school age and above who are confident around larger dogs.
Daisy enjoys an active lifestyle and will thrive in a home that can provide two daily walks, plenty of opportunities to sniff and explore, enrichment activities and lots of quality time with her family.

Rehoming FAQs
Here at Battersea, we assess all of our dogs individually and create a rehoming profile for them. To ensure successful matches between people and pets, we use a combination of extensive rehoming experience, our staff expertise and the information you provided in your rehoming form. Once you complete your online registration, you’ll receive a confirmation email to let you know that we have everything we need to begin our matchmaking process, as well as the next steps of the process.
This may not always be the dog you thought it would be, which is why we ask that you see the registration form as a way of registering your interest in rehoming, not an application for a specific animal. We’re experts in making sure we find the right home for our dogs and the right dog for your home.

Once you’ve completed our online registration form, we’ll handle the rest. Your rehoming registration will be open for up to three months, and in that time, we’ll do our very best to try and match you with a pet that best suits you and your lifestyle. It can take a bit of time for us to try and match you with a pet – but we promise it’s time well spent. We’re committed to getting to know every animal at our centres before finding a match that works for our dogs and for you wherever possible.
If we are not able to match you with a dog within three months, we’ll let you know and offer guidance to help you continue your search, either at Battersea or beyond.

Our rehoming fee is £230 for dogs (over six months), £350 for a pair of dogs, or £275 for puppies (under six months). We accept cash or debit/credit card as payment (we are unable to accept cheques). Included in this cost are the following:
- Microchipping
- Initial vaccinations, flea and worming treatment
- Neutering
- A collar, identification tag and lead
- Starter pack of food, advice and special offers
- Four weeks’ free Petplan insurance as your dog settles into their new surroundings
Something to bear in mind is that our rehoming fee is just the beginning of the costs involved with owning a dog. We would recommend that before making the decision to rehome, you investigate the costs of pet food, pet insurance, grooming and fees at your local veterinary centre so that you are fully prepared for the financial implications of bringing a dog into your home.
