Daisy is a fun and affectionate Staffy cross based at our Old Windsor Centre. She loves being around people and enjoys plenty of fuss and attention from her favourite humans. In her excitement, Daisy can sometimes forget to keep all four paws on the ground, but her affectionate nature shines through wherever she goes.

Daisy enjoys getting out and about for walks and is happiest exploring quieter, calmer routes where she can take in her surroundings. She likes meeting and interacting with other dogs and can be playful with them, although she occasionally forgets her manners. Because of this, Daisy is looking for a home where she can be the only dog and enjoy all the attention to herself.

A real foodie, Daisy loves all kinds of treats and is always eager to earn a tasty reward. Her absolute favourite activity, however, is splashing around in a paddling pool. Whether it's cooling off on a warm day or simply having some fun, swimming is guaranteed to bring out her playful side.

With her affectionate nature, playful personality and love of people, Daisy is sure to make a wonderful companion for the right home. When we think we’ve found a potential match, one of our expert rehoming team will then get in touch to understand a bit more about you and discuss next steps.

We will then arrange a visit to a Battersea centre to meet your potential new pet.

Rehoming FAQs

Here at Battersea, we assess all of our dogs individually and create a rehoming profile for them. To ensure successful matches between people and pets, we use a combination of extensive rehoming experience, our staff expertise and the information you provided in your rehoming form. Once you complete your online registration, you’ll receive a confirmation email to let you know that we have everything we need to begin our matchmaking process, as well as the next steps of the process.

This may not always be the dog you thought it would be, which is why we ask that you see the registration form as a way of registering your interest in rehoming, not an application for a specific animal. We’re experts in making sure we find the right home for our dogs and the right dog for your home.

Once you’ve completed our online registration form, we’ll handle the rest.  Your rehoming registration will be open for up to three months, and in that time, we’ll do our very best to try and match you with a pet that best suits you and your lifestyle. It can take a bit of time for us to try and match you with a pet – but we promise it’s time well spent. We’re committed to getting to know every animal at our centres before finding a match that works for our dogs and for you wherever possible.

If we are not able to match you with a dog within three months, we’ll let you know and offer guidance to help you continue your search, either at Battersea or beyond.

Our rehoming fee is £230 for dogs (over six months), £350 for a pair of dogs, or £275 for puppies (under six months). We accept cash or debit/credit card as payment (we are unable to accept cheques). Included in this cost are the following:

  • Microchipping
  • Initial vaccinations, flea and worming treatment
  • Neutering
  • A collar, identification tag and lead
  • Starter pack of food, advice and special offers
  • Four weeks’ free Petplan insurance as your dog settles into their new surroundings


Something to bear in mind is that our rehoming fee is just the beginning of the costs involved with owning a dog. We would recommend that before making the decision to rehome, you investigate the costs of pet food, pet insurance, grooming and fees at your local veterinary centre so that you are fully prepared for the financial implications of bringing a dog into your home.
