More about Edith
Edith is a bright, bubbly Saluki cross based at Battersea Old Windsor.
When spending time with Edith, her affectionate and playful character shines through. With people she doesn't know so well, especially men, she can be worried. Her new owners will need to give her some support around new people at home so that she can build confidence at her pace. Once she knows you, she is so happy and scatty and great company.
When Edith first arrived in our care, she was not sure how to act around dogs, especially on lead, and this could result in her barking at dogs and pulling towards them. She has improved greatly with the training we have put in place, but this will need to be continued by her owners - she does actually enjoy meeting other dogs and once she has greeted them, she can be playful and likes to walk alongside them.
Edith can often be found running around with toys - she'll either throw them around or squeak them and it's fun watching her play. She loves her food too and will settle well with a long-lasting chew. She likes exploring the sand pits and, when it's warm, enjoys having a splash or roll around in a paddling pool.
Edith is a tremendous dog with lots of personality and charm to bring to her new home.
