More about ELLA

Ella is a gentle dog, who has a worried side with some men she doesn't know. Ella is located at our Old Windsor centre, if you are interested in her please email bow.rehomers@battersea.org.uk.

Ella loves toys and food and these have been useful to help her training. She loves a gentle fuss from people she has already spent time with and knows, but is naturally more wary of unknown people and will need owners to understand this and be patient with her.

Ella is looking to be the only dog in her new home. She would benefit from quiet walks in places where there are not too many other dogs around, so that she can relax and sniff. Ella needs some gentle confidence building with the wider world.

Ella finds travelling in a car a little difficult. We have put some training in place for this which will need to be continued by her new owners, but she has made good progress. She will need to live in a home where she won't be required to travel in a vehicle every day.

Ella is looking for experienced owners who will be able to continue her training. She has proven to be trainable and responds well to people she has a good bond with.

She is very endearing and has the wiggliest bottom! She has made quite an impression on the staff who work with her due to her delightful character, which we're sure will continue to flourish when she is settled in her forever home.
