Meet Floki, our sweet Husky cross!
Floki is a sweet, affectionate and clever girl who is ready to find a loving home of her own. She loves being close to her people and quickly forms strong bonds with those she knows. Although she can be a little unsure when meeting new people, with some gentle reassurance and time to settle, her friendly nature soon shines through.
Floki is looking for an active home away from the inner city, with owners who can give her plenty of opportunities to explore and enjoy the world around her. She is a very clever girl who loves to learn, so she would really enjoy owners who can continue her training and provide her with plenty of enrichment. A private garden would be highly beneficial for her, giving her a safe space to enjoy some time outdoors alongside her daily walks.
Floki would prefer to be the only dog in the home for now. However, she has lovely manners when meeting other dogs and is friendly and sociable with them, particularly when they are calm and polite. She would really enjoy having a group of friendly walking buddies to meet up with and explore alongside.
Floki can live with teenagers and would be best suited to owners who have some experience with sensitive dogs. She will need people who can give her the time, patience and reassurance she needs to build her confidence when meeting new people and experiencing new things.
Floki is a wonderful girl with lots of potential to become a fantastic companion. With an active lifestyle, continued training and patient owners who can help her confidence grow, she is sure to make a loving and rewarding addition to the right home!

Please be aware that we have a large amount of interest in rehoming our animals, so we are only able to contact those that are a match for the dog in question.
Rehoming FAQs
Here at Battersea, we assess all of our dogs individually and create a rehoming profile for them. To ensure successful matches between people and pets, we use a combination of extensive rehoming experience, our staff expertise and the information you provided in your rehoming form. Once you complete your online registration, you’ll receive a confirmation email to let you know that we have everything we need to begin our matchmaking process, as well as the next steps of the process.
This may not always be the dog you thought it would be, which is why we ask that you see the registration form as a way of registering your interest in rehoming, not an application for a specific animal. We’re experts in making sure we find the right home for our dogs and the right dog for your home.

Once you’ve completed our online registration form, we’ll handle the rest. Your rehoming registration will be open for up to three months, and in that time, we’ll do our very best to try and match you with a pet that best suits you and your lifestyle. It can take a bit of time for us to try and match you with a pet – but we promise it’s time well spent. We’re committed to getting to know every animal at our centres before finding a match that works for our dogs and for you wherever possible.
If we are not able to match you with a dog within three months, we’ll let you know and offer guidance to help you continue your search, either at Battersea or beyond.

Our rehoming fee is £230 for dogs (over six months), £350 for a pair of dogs, or £275 for puppies (under six months). We accept cash or debit/credit card as payment (we are unable to accept cheques). Included in this cost are the following:
- Microchipping
- Initial vaccinations, flea and worming treatment
- Neutering
- A collar, identification tag and lead
- Starter pack of food, advice and special offers
- Four weeks’ free Petplan insurance as your dog settles into their new surroundings
Something to bear in mind is that our rehoming fee is just the beginning of the costs involved with owning a dog. We would recommend that before making the decision to rehome, you investigate the costs of pet food, pet insurance, grooming and fees at your local veterinary centre so that you are fully prepared for the financial implications of bringing a dog into your home.
