More about François

Meet François, our delightful, distinguished French Bulldog. This beautiful blue boy is perhaps one of the best examples of his breed we have seen - he fits more into the 'old fashioned' types of the French Bulldog, with a longer snout allowing for better breathing. He loves to sit in our kennel block kitchens, watching over the staff to make sure they are doing a good job!

François was found as a stray, so we have limited information on what his life was like before he came to be in our care. He has proven himself to be a friendly and well rounded boy who likes attention from people and to sit on laps. He has shown social behaviours around other dogs, though does demonstrate typical French Bulldog body language that those familiar with the breed will know well. François is not house trained when in his kennel, though is clean when he spends time in the kitchen, so he might some reminders in this area.

François could potentially live with another dog with a friendly and independent temperament around other dogs. We have no information on him around cats, but if owners feel confident in introduce a resident cat to him following our advice, we feel that he could potentially get along with a feline friend. François can use his mouth in rough play or if he gets too much hands on and isn't 100% comfortable, so would do best living with teenagers rather than younger children.
