Glen is a young Lurcher with a lot of energy who will enjoy lots of exploring and long walks.
Glenn loves his toys and chases them around the paddock. Lurchers are know for being cheeky and fun so he will enjoy lots of enrichment around the home as well as his walks.
Glenn came to us as a stray, so we would advise introducing him to a home and new environments slowly, being patient with him whilst he settles. His time alone needs to be built up gradually, making sure he is comfortable with being left.
Glen is able to live with another dog and has shown some nice social skills but does like to chase and is vocal in play. He would benefit from living with a medium to large dog that can cope with his play style. He has made friends with a variety of breeds here at Old Windsor and should be encouraged to socialise with other dogs in his new home.
Glenn has been friendly with everyone he has met and is wiggly and bouncy when greeting new people. He will need training around jumping up as he can become over enthusiastic. He loves his food so this can be utilised in his training.
Glenn can show some worry around handling and his harness, so new owners will need to take things slowly with him and go at his pace.
Glenn would prefer his own private garden where he can have the space to run around off lead and play with his toys. New owners can utilise this to practice his recall.
