More about Harry
Meet sweet Harry!
Harry arrived at Battersea with six of his siblings from another rescue. Unfortunately, we have no information about their previous history but it is likely he had not had experience living in a home environment.
Harry, like all of his siblings, has found the move to our busy London site quite challenging especially in those first few days. Harry is very worried and lacking experience with the outside world. Harry is very noise sensitive and quick to retreat to 'safe spaces' when he's uncomfortable. Like all of his siblings Harry is struggling with walking on lead and is currently carried in and out of his kennel for outside time. He will need a new home with a private garden.
Harry is looking for a dedicated family who are happy to commit the time needed to help him settle into a new environment and build his confidence. He would suit owners with some previous experience of anxious dogs who are confident in reading dog body language and advocating for his needs.
Harry will need to live with another dog, ideally a small, steady, friendly role model type, as he will really gain confidence from this.
If you have already completed our online rehoming form and would like to know more about Harry, you can e-mail our rehoming team on rehoming@battersea.org.uk to register your interest.
We ask every customer to first complete our online form before we discuss an individual dog, so if you have not filled in our form yet you can find the details on how to do so here: https://www.battersea.org.uk/rehome/dogs
Please be aware that we have a large amount of interest in rehoming our animals, so we are only able to contact those that are a match for the dog you have contacted us about.
