More about Hashbrown

Hashbrown is a lively and loveable Bull Mastiff cross who is currently based at Battersea Old Windsor.

Hashbrown is a social butterfly and enjoys making new human and dog companions. He has been friendly with all members of staff here at Old Windsor and Hashbrown will often greet you with an enthusiastic wiggle, wagging tail and will sometimes even bring you one of his toys. Making friends can be very exciting for Hashbrown which can lead to him jumping up, new owners are to encourage Hashbrown to keep 4 paws on the floor to help encourage calmer interactions.

Hashbrown has been able to meet a variety of dogs of different breeds and sizes. He sometimes can’t contain his excitement and can pull over to greet other dogs and can forget his size, which some dogs can find worrying. He would be looking to be the only dog in the household whilst he is working to be more polite with his social interactions.

With being a large breed dog (currently weighing in at 42kg!), Hashbrown can be strong and pull on the lead when he catches an interesting scent that he wants to investigate or when he is keen to say hello to another dog. He would be looking for new owners who would be comfortable handling a larger, stronger dog and would be happy to continue his training to help with loose lead walking.

During the day, we often spot Hashbrown keeping himself entertained by playing with toys. His favourites are soft toys or squeaky toys, and you usually spot him throwing it for himself and trying to catch it.

Hashbrown would make a loyal and affectionate companion and will bring lots of smiles when his bubbly personality is on full display.
