More about Hedwig

Meet our beautiful girl Hedwig! A gorgeous 7 month old Husky X Akita.

Hedwig found our way to us as a stray, therefore we are unsure on her history, but we have had the absolute pleasure of getting to know this happy girl!

Hedwig is a social butterfly, she loves meeting anyone and everyone and loves to lean in for a fuss. She still is a young girl entering her adolescence, therefore she can get a bit carried away in her affection and jump up at times, she is doing well on her impulse control training and will need this continued in the home with new owners.

She loves playing with other dogs, although can get a bit too carried away with her play as she still learns her social skills as he grows into adolescence , at this time she would be best being the only dog in the home with some regular doggy best friends to socialise with.

Ideally her new owners will have some experience with larger spitz type breeds, although this is not essential, as long as owners are willing to research into her breed and are capable of taking on a larger, bouncy and younger dog to continue her training.
