More about Herbie

Meet Herbie, a bright and affectionate Belgian Shepherd cross who’s ready to find his forever home. Since arriving at Battersea, he’s quickly shown us his fun, confident, and friendly nature. Herbie is a people-loving dog who thrives on attention and affection, always eager for a good cuddle or playtime.

Though he’s still learning about other dogs, Herbie is quick to warm up and has a great ability to socialize once he feels comfortable. He enjoys running around and playing with other dogs, but he can be a little cautious around larger, bouncy types at first. His breed does make him vocal at times, so he’ll benefit from ongoing training to help him stay focused during walks.

Herbie has been on park and road walks and has handled busy environments well, though he does show some chase tendencies, especially around joggers and bikes, so continued training in this area will be important.

Smart, responsive, and full of potential, Herbie would thrive in an active home where he can enjoy long walks and continued socialisation. He’ll do best in a quieter environment, with owners who can provide structure and experience, especially with shepherd breeds or dogs with chase instincts.

Herbie is ready to be a loyal and playful companion, bringing joy and adventure to the right home!
