More about Huxley

Meet Huxley, a larger-than-life character that will be a rewarding project for his new family. Huxley is based at our Old Windsor Centre.

Huxley is everything you’d expect from his breed: confident, spirited and already showing the impressive breed traits Cane Corsos are known for. He will grow into a large, powerful dog, so he needs a home that truly understands the responsibility that comes with owning a giant breed.

He’s seeking owners who have knowledge of Cane Corsos or similar large, strong breeds. Like any young pup, Huxley will thrive with consistent training, clear boundaries and plenty of positive socialisation to help him grow into a well‑rounded adult. He is already showing his cheeky personality and we are sure there is a lot more to come.

Huxley has a healthy appetite enjoying his food which will be a great aid for training. Soft toys have also been a favourite and he likes to carry them when going out for walks.

He may be able to live with another confident, steady dog who can handle typical puppy behaviour — energetic play, learning manners and the occasional testing of limits. A calm, mature and resilient canine role model could be a wonderful influence for him in the right home.

A private, secure garden is essential, so Huxley has a safe space for house‑training, burning off energy and enjoying fun play sessions.
