More about Ivy

Ivy is a tiny bundle of joy who can take some time to come out of her shell, but once she does, she loves to have gentle fuss and zooming around our paddocks. She is based at our Old Windsor site.

Ivy has been worried in different situations during her time with us, she has shown to build her confidence with time and reward-based training. She has shown to be worried of new people, walking in new areas and sudden noises. She loves treats and this will come in handy for new owners to continue her training and positive exposure.

Her personality has shone through over time and Ivy has shown to have the typical terrier traits where she loves to use her nose to explore and has an energetic side to her. We feel that Ivy would benefit from her new home to have a private and secure garden to give her a safe space where she can explore and burn off her energy while settling in.

Ivy has also been worried when interacting with other dogs and does not gain anything from being around them; at this time we feel Ivy would benefit from being the only dog in the household while she works on her socialisation. New owners should slowly introduce Ivy to calm and steady dogs to help build up her confidence and continue positive interactions. She has also shown some resource guarding which will need to be managed at home, and she is best not having to share her space with other dogs.

Ivy is a delightful dog who is looking for a supportive and patient home. She will make a joyful and fun-loving companion.
