More about James

Meet James. Our sweet and sensitive Cane Corso pup! James arrived at Battersea a gift due to no fault of his own.

He has a nice history from his previous home. Sharing his space with other dogs and an adult cat. James was described as an inquisitive puppy who enjoys human interaction, a friendly pup with a gentle nature. We have seen the same lovely boy while here onsite although he does have a worried side to him. James has been friendly with everyone he has met but has found the outside world a little overwhelming at times and is looking for new owners who can show him the world is not such a scary place and help him build up his confidence at his own pace.

James is used to living with dogs but did have a squabble with a litter mate, so we feel he is best suited to being the only dog in the home with his socialisation taking place in neutral spaces. He may be a small puppy now but has some growing to do, so new owners need to be confident in handling large breed dogs.

James is looking for a new home away from the inner city and will need access to his own private garden to help with continued training. He could possibly live with older teens and may be able to live with a dog savvy cat!

This sweet boy really does have a heart of gold and will need all basic training and ongoing socialisation to set him up for success and ensure he develops into a well rounded adult. James is sure to light up any household with his gentle and affectionate nature and will no doubt be the most loyal of companions in any home lucky enough to have him.
