More about Jill

Jill is a confident, affectionate Dachshund cross who absolutely adores a bit of fuss and will happily soak up all the love you’re willing to give. She is currently based as Battersea Old Windsor.

Jill is at her happiest when she’s around people, and she enjoys greeting new friends with her signature happy wiggle.
Jill tends to be quite independent around other dogs. She’ll happily say hello, share a friendly moment, and then wander off to do her own thing, usually taking very little interest in the other dog. When she’s excited, she may let out a bark as she approaches, which is very typical for her breed. Once she’s greeted, she’s relaxed, friendly, and moves on well.

Jill would be looking to be the only dog in the household but would benefit from some calm, well-mannered walking friends who enjoy peaceful walks and gentle company.

One of Jill’s favourite things to do is to play with toys, she is happy to play with her favourite people or keep herself entertained. She’s not fussy and will happily enjoy most toys you offer her, but soft, squeaky toys are definitely her top choice
