Meet the beautiful Knox!
Knox arrived at Battersea as he did not get on with the cat in the home and is now looking for a new cat free home to settle down in!
Knox has a lovely history from his previous home with his owner describing him as 'very friendly with people and children of all ages'. He is a wonderful example of his breed, and has been a fun, friendly, excitable boy on site. Knox does exhibit some typical Husky traits, he can be unsure around handling, vocal in play and does show chase behaviours towards wildlife. Knox will be looking for new owners with some previous experience with Huskies who will be knowledgeable in their breed traits and comfortable managing his ongoing training.
Although he can be aloof initially (in typical Husky fashion), once he makes friends he is super affectionate, and becomes very excited whenever he sees his people! So if you're looking for a fun, loyal boy who will always greet you with love and happy Husky awhoos, look no further, for sweet Knox could be the one for you!

Rehoming FAQs
Here at Battersea, we assess all of our dogs individually and create a rehoming profile for them. To ensure successful matches between people and pets, we use a combination of extensive rehoming experience, our staff expertise and the information you provided in your rehoming form. Once you complete your online registration, you’ll receive a confirmation email to let you know that we have everything we need to begin our matchmaking process, as well as the next steps of the process.
This may not always be the dog you thought it would be, which is why we ask that you see the registration form as a way of registering your interest in rehoming, not an application for a specific animal. We’re experts in making sure we find the right home for our dogs and the right dog for your home.

Once you’ve completed our online registration form, we’ll handle the rest. Your rehoming registration will be open for up to three months, and in that time, we’ll do our very best to try and match you with a pet that best suits you and your lifestyle. It can take a bit of time for us to try and match you with a pet – but we promise it’s time well spent. We’re committed to getting to know every animal at our centres before finding a match that works for our dogs and for you wherever possible.
If we are not able to match you with a dog within three months, we’ll let you know and offer guidance to help you continue your search, either at Battersea or beyond.

Our rehoming fee is £230 for dogs (over six months), £350 for a pair of dogs, or £275 for puppies (under six months). We accept cash or debit/credit card as payment (we are unable to accept cheques). Included in this cost are the following:
- Microchipping
- Initial vaccinations, flea and worming treatment
- Neutering
- A collar, identification tag and lead
- Starter pack of food, advice and special offers
- Four weeks’ free Petplan insurance as your dog settles into their new surroundings
Something to bear in mind is that our rehoming fee is just the beginning of the costs involved with owning a dog. We would recommend that before making the decision to rehome, you investigate the costs of pet food, pet insurance, grooming and fees at your local veterinary centre so that you are fully prepared for the financial implications of bringing a dog into your home.
