More about Lady

Meet our wonderful Lady! Lady is a pint sized traditional staffy - some might say a 'proper' staffy! True to her breed, Lady absolutely adores being around people and is a wonderful little companion. She loves to play with her toys and will happily occupy herself with them, dancing around with them and flinging them into the air. Lady also enjoys her walks and is an active little dog.

Lady was sadly found as a stray and we do not know what her life was like until she came to be in our care. Lady is a little unsteady on her back legs, but this does not stop her from living life to the full and getting about. She has been on foster with one of our staff members and has been a lovely house guest, being immaculately house trained from day one. Perhaps due to the trauma of being abandoned on the streets, Lady does find being on her own quite upsetting, but she has made progress with this during the time she has been on foster and is slowly building her confidence to spend shorter periods of time alone. Her new owners will need to be able to be around for her for the majority of the time while she settles into her new home.

Although able to walk with other dogs and greet them, Lady really is a 'people's dog' and much prefers hanging out with people than other dogs. She does need to be the only pet in her home, she can lap up all the attention! Lady can be a little intolerant of some types of dogs and may give a little grumble and prefer to do her own thing, so her new owners will need to advocate for her and ensure she is not put into situations she will find stressful. Lady will need to be kept on lead when walked out and about, so would love her own garden to trundle around in and play with her favourite toys - footballs!

This wonderful girl will make a fabulous addition to almost any household. She will certainly keep her new owners amused with her big character and little snorts and really is an absolute gem for staffy enthusiasts.
