More about LARRY
Larry is looking for a special home with kind and patient owners who ideally have some knowledge of Greyhounds. Whilst Larry is very relaxed and happy in his kennel, he finds new and unfamiliar environments worrying and he becomes anxious and unsettled. He will need his new owners to take things very slowly when he goes to his new home and not expect too much from him. He is a lovely gentle dog, who, once he knows you, loves some fuss and affection. Due to his breed and some chase seen around wildlife, he will be rehomed to be on-lead and muzzled in public places.
Larry takes confidence from other dogs, particularly female Sighthound types, so is looking for a home where he can live with a calm female Sighthound to help show him the ropes.
Larry has been friendly with all new people that he has met and enjoys receiving fuss and affection. He may be able to live with teenagers in his new home.
He walks nicely with other dogs, but is not keen on very exuberant or bouncy dogs.
