More about Laura

Gentle-natured Laura is looking for a quiet home to call her own where she can have all the home comforts and company she enjoys. She is based at our Old Windsor centre.

Laura is a placid Greyhound who is calm and when spending time in our offices relaxes well with company. She does love company and struggles a little when left alone, as she is not used to this currently. If you are in the same room she will happily settle and snooze on her bed.

Laura has found her recent change in routine quite difficult and has been quite subdued, she would like patient owners who are happy to give her some time to find her feet again in a new home. She has particularly struggled to have much of an appetite here but in her previous home she would try to help herself to food on surfaces, so her cheeky side is just waiting to show again.

With other dogs, Laura would rather keep to herself, though will briefly greet other dogs. She is not too confident to go for long walks at present and will potter gently next to you, but we're sure when she's happy in her new home she'll likely enjoy some longer walks. In her previous home she loved playing with tennis balls and would sometimes strip the fluff off them, so she may appreciate a supply in her home.

Laura has previously been housetrained but will need some reminders in her new home. She is such a kind dog who is looking for a quiet, steady home with owners who will not expect too much from her. In return Laura will be a loyal, gentle and loving companion.
