More about Leah
Leah is an engaging, fun little Terrier. With people, she is affectionate and loves a fuss and greets everyone with a wagging tail.
She certainly shows the true Terrier traits when playing with toys and will throw toys around and rag on them – she also really enjoys a game of tug with people and is quite strong for a small dog! Leah is less keen on other dogs and struggles to greet them, and really likes to keep to herself. Having said that, she would benefit from having some friendly calm dogs to go on walks with so she can build her confidence, but her owners should not expect too much of her.
Leah enjoys the company of people and, in this environment, can find it difficult to settle. She may take a little time to find her feet in her new home but we’re sure with a consistent routine, fun games to keep her occupied and plenty of walks she’ll flourish.
She can be chatty and likes to let you know what she wants – whether that’s some fuss, a game or a tasty treat. She’ll need her own garden where she can potter and have some off lead exercise, as well as plenty of adventures where she can sniff and explore.
Leah is a curious and merry girl with lots of energy to bring to her new home. If you have already completed our online rehoming form and would like to know more about Leah, you can e-mail our rehoming team on bow.rehomers@battersea.org.uk to register your interest.
