More about Lion

Meet the loveable Lion, our young Shepherd boy!!

Lion came to Battersea as a stray so we don't have any history for his first year or two of life, although he has shown to be a bouncy and exuberant young lad who loves attention and his food! Lion was in a bit of a sorry state when he first arrived, he'd lost lots of his beautiful coat and his skin was itchy and sore but his handsome face won everyone's hearts, even without the fur.

Lion can be a typical Shepherd and is a vocal boy when he thinks a treat is on the cards and if kennelled near the kitchen the whole block knows it. He is a friendly boy with everyone he meets and once you're on his friend list, which doesn't take long, he loves a fuss and cuddle.

Lion is looking for a new home somewhere quieter, with a new family who have some experience with guarding breeds and who are willing to put in some training work to help him become his best self.
