More about LOLA

Meet Lola our 3 years old lurcher. Unfortunately Lola came to us through no fault of her own due to a change in her owners circumstances.

She generally has a lovely history in her previous home, since Lola has been here she has been mostly friendly and excitable with all the known and unknown people and friendly and playful with all of the dogs she has met.

Lola has shown some overstimulated behaviour at the start of her stay here whilst on site and owners will need to continue with some impulse control and teach all 4 paws on the floor.

We have put some training and socialisation in place for Lola to help her navigate this and it has started to positively change her behaviour. Along with carrying out our usual tests we have put in chase and park assessments and she is responding well to the training put in for both.

Lola is a chilled, laid back yet energetic girl. She is looking for new owners who are active, who might have kept a lurcher or sight hound before. Her new owners could live on their own or be part of a couple, a home with a private garden or who have the time and resources to hire out a secure private field. A family that will stagger Lola's time left alone gradually as she loves her known people maybe who work from home or has the resources to hire a dog walker, and that will have the time and resources to continue the training we have started for her whilst she has been here.

Lola has been the most sweetest natured friendliest girl since she has been with us, and will be the newest member of your family that you never knew you needed.

If you think that Lovely Lola might just be the companion you are searching for, please contact the Rehoming team in London ASAP at rehoming@battersea.org.uk, providing an overview of your previous experience with dogs, current set up and how you can meet her needs.
