More about Lottie
Lottie is a delightful and fun-loving Foxhound cross who is with us here at Battersea Old Windsor. She is looking for a quiet home with lots of time to help her settle and build confidence in her new environments and routines.
Lottie has shown to enjoy the company of people; she enjoys gentle fuss and is famously known for her leaning in for more. She has shown to struggle when being left and we have some history of her displaying signs of separation anxiety in the home. Lottie is looking for her new home to have multiple people in the household to help build up her time alone gradually.
She is a very social dog and enjoys socialising with other dogs. Lottie has a bouncy play style but also then settles into a walk and enjoys the other dog’s company. She will need to continue building her socialisation and will benefit from regular walking buddies who are happy to offer play but also offer calm interactions as well.
As a young active breed, Lottie will enjoy a variety of exercise and brain games. She spends most of her time on walks and in our secure paddocks with her nose to the floor taking all the interesting smells in. We feel she will benefit from a private and secure garden where she can use this space for her enrichment sessions, explore and burn off her energy off lead.
She has spent time in a temporary foster home and has shown to settle well in the home. She enjoys affection from her foster carers enjoying curling up in her bed. Lottie has shown to have a worried side in different situations; new owners will need to allow Lottie to settle in at her own pace and slowly desensitise her to new experiences. This will help her build confidence and continue having positive interactions.
Lottie will make a very rewarding and lovable companion for her new owners. If you have already completed our online rehoming form and would like to know more about Lottie, you can e-mail our rehoming team on bow.rehomers@battersea.org.uk to register your interest.
We ask every customer to first complete our online form before we discuss an individual animal, so if you have not filled in our form yet you can find the details on how to do so here https://www.battersea.org.uk/rehoming.
Please be aware that we have a large amount of interest in rehoming our animals, so we are only able to contact those that are a match for the dog you have contacted us about.
