More about Maggie

Maggie is a graceful, fun-loving Greyhound with a sparky personality, based at our Old Windsor centre.

Likes many Greyhounds, some of her favourite things are relaxing on her bed, leaning on people for a fuss and treats - chicken really is the way to her heart. Maggie's not yet mastered the art of playing with toys but with some encouragement once she's settled she might enjoy a chase game with a fluffy toy.

With other dogs, Maggie will sniff to say hello but is not keen on dogs being around her for prolonged periods of time and so is looking to be the only dog in her new home. She may not be a hugely sociable dog but she will like to meet other calm, steady dogs for greeting on walks, and Greyhounds often like the company of their breed.

Maggie is mostly quite relaxed but can get a little stressed out on walks, sometimes panting and not really relaxing, and will need understanding owners who will be happy to give her some time to find her feet in a new environment. With some gentle reassurance and shorter walks in places she knows, she'll gain in confidence and hopefully will enjoy adventures further afield.
