More about Mango

Mango is a gentle giant in the making. We believe she is an Estrella Mountain Dog cross, and she is expected to grow into a large dog. She is looking for a home with people who genuinely love big breeds and appreciate their loyal, thoughtful and sensitive nature.

Mango is currently a nervous young dog, who is still learning about the world. With time, patience and positive guidance, she has every potential to blossom into a confident, well-rounded adult. She thrives when allowed to go at her own pace, and her new family will play a key role in helping her build confidence through calm exposure, encouragement and training.

Like many juveniles, Mango has previously shown typical puppy behaviours such as being mouthy, getting a little overstimulated and lacking some manners. She has already begun training and is making steady improvements. Her new owners should be happy to continue this training and will be rewarded with a dog who is eager to learn and respond.

When meeting new dogs, Mango can be unsure at first, but once she feels safe, her true personality shines through. She becomes bouncy, playful and sociable and has made many dog friends during her time with us. She would benefit from initially socialising with calm, easy-going dogs who can help build her confidence and act as positive role models.

Mango is seeking experienced owners who are comfortable handling a large breed and can provide the mental and physical stimulation she needs to stay happy and engaged. In the right home, Mango will grow into a loyal, affectionate companion with a playful spirit and gentle heart. Most of all she is looking for patient new owners who will give her the time and understanding she needs to navigate the world, grow in confidence, learn manners and let her wonderful personality shine.
